Artist statement

Living in Aboyne has given me the opportunity to visit many spectacular areas of the Scottish landscape.

The inspiration for many of my oil paintings. When I cannot get to mountainous areas I enjoy walking my dog in the local woods. Images of trees, bushes and wild flowers catch my eye giving me the variety that sparks my creativity.

Extended Bio

Gray's School of Art 1979 Qualified in Art and Design. Opened a gallery (specialising in printmaking) in Kincardine O'Neil1980 - 1995 Retired to spend all my time painting in my studio at Torran Darroch. Exhibited at numerous venues over the years.
