Directions

From St Mary's car park in Banff, walk up to the High Street. Walk past St. Mary's Church and cross the road at Back Path. The next building on your right holds the Library on the ground floor and the Museum of Banff on the first floor. Artist statement

I am excited to join NEOS for the first time. I paint in acrylic and enjoy bringing bold colour, texture, and tone to the forefront. Subjects that inspire me include single flower heads which I photograph whilst out walking, Paisley patterns from a variety of fabrics, and abstract compositions created from Indian style tapestries.

Extended Bio

I was a middle school art teacher for a number of years in Staffordshire. After moving to North East Scotland three years ago I have continued to embrace my creativity. I have completed commissions for local residents and my Facebook page followers. I enjoy collaborating with the Museum of Banff to produce illustrations and art work when needed, and help with displays. In addition to my painting, I enjoy silversmithing, knitting, and making jewellery and decorations.
