Coming into Newburgh from the South, we are about halfway along Main Street on the left-hand side, directly opposite the Udny Arms Hotel/Trellis Cafe (lovely for a coffee & cake!). The gallery is at the bottom of the back garden, the way is signposted.

Artist statement

I paint in oils, mostly marines and landscape of Peterhead and the surrounding area. I try to capture the effects of light and atmosphere in my paintings.

Extended Bio

I was born and brought up in Peterhead and that's where most of my inspiration has come from. I have drawn and painted all my life. At 85, I don't paint as much any more, but I still enjoy it.
