Artist statement

My work is concerned with portraiture and 'The Self'. It is symbolic but always relevant to the subject, I use various techniques to achieve the outcome I desire. I work in an abstracted style. The work is bold, colourful and dynamic.

The materials used are acrylic paint and collage

I am currently creating a portrait of Bennachie - The Mither.
