Artist statement

Inspired by my love of the natural world, my work is primarily based on wildlife and livestock, painted to a high degree of realism. I work in Acrylics, scratchboard and oils. I have won several awards for my artwork including two category wins in BBC wildlife artist of the year. I will be doing demonstrations throughout the week

Extended Bio

Born in Yorkshire I moved to Scotland in my late teens and graduated from Gray's school of art with a BA in Fine art, Painting. I have gone on to exhibit nationally and have had work in the Mall galleries in London for the DSWF wildlife artist of the year exhibition, as well as winning awards at the National exhibition of wildlife art, the Gordon arts forum exhibition and have two category wins in BBC wildlife artist of the year.
