Artist statement

Looking forward to opening the studio for you to browse a new collection of work. My art focuses on the land and sea with an emphasis on recreating the big skies that surround us in Aberdeenshire. I work in a variety of media so this is a great opportunity to ask questions, pick up tips and even have a go. A warm welcome awaits.

Extended Bio

Jane McMillan was born in Scotland, spending her childhood surrounded by lochs and mountains. These early experiences created a real love of the land and is the focus of her Art. Jane loves the drama created by the weather impacting on our landscape and she highlights the changing colours and mood using a variety of media and expressive mark making.
