Artist statement

Shed based potter inspired by a man called Keith crying on the telly about 7 years ago. Working in stoneware all thrown from a wheel. I enjoy vibrant colour schemes and dabble in glaze chemistry. Expect one off statement pieces that you can use.

Extended Bio

Dave Lothian has enjoyed his adventures in clay since 2018. After watching the first Great Pottery throw down a spark was reignited. My adventures in clay continue being inspired by the challenge that exists in taking raw clay and creating new forms. Infinity and beyond..
