Directions

From Banff High street, continue towards the hospital.. the high street becomes North Castle street. Carry on for a few hindered yards and past the hospital, as you get near a fork in the road there is a pub on your right hand side, and immediately opposite the pub on the left is an archway through to a car park for Meadowlands.

Artist statement

I paint mainly in acrylics on canvas, canvas boards, and plywood panels. I love bright colours and paint a wide variety of subjects. Whatever catches my imagination at the time, from portraits, to animals, to landscapes.

If a painting causes a reaction, a smile, a tear, or any other emotion then it's a success in my book.

Extended Bio

I always wanted to paint but never had the time.. however, after a cancer diagnosis in January 2020 I suddenly had plenty of time. ‘Every cloud..’ as the saying goes. I joined Banff art club and they helped me enormously to just enjoy the painting journey. I paint in acrylics and try to paint for a short time every day if I can. My health has improved and my quality of life is so much better now that I can indulge in my favourite passion of art. The cancer diagnosis was a blessing in disguise!
