Directions

Follow St Leonard's Road south out of Forres on B9010 towards Rafford. Before you reach Marcassie, look for a farm track sign on the left for Mains of Blervie and Blervie. Turn up the track and take the second track on the right through the stone gate posts. Follow track to Blervie. There are three steps up to front door entrance.

Artist statement

Pattern, rhythm, colour, texture and layers keep pulling me back into this life's long dance of paint. Here in the venerable surroundings of Blervie, I share with you my joyful response to the beauty of earth, sky and water and spiritual energies within that gives life to us all.

Extended Bio

Iona undertook many years of learning bold and adventurous en plein painting technique with Orcadian artist, Peter McLaren and then went on to become Historic Environment Scotland's first artist in residence at Stirling Castle. She has taught her craft for many years and exhibited in a number of wonderful galleries.
