Artist statement

I'm delighted to be exhibiting at NEOS for the first time this year. I am a maker working with mixed media. I gather seashore treasure and fallen woodland finds to create unique and personal framed art. This year I will be exhibiting with Michelle Graham who also works in mixed media.

Extended Bio

Having spent all my childhood summers by the seashore, I have always been inspired to gather seashore treasures. Eight years ago I decided to indulge this interest some more and, taking baby steps, my journey has taken me to NEOS for the first time in 2024! Due to the nature of the media, all of my pictures are individual, however I also do many commissions for bespoke designs to meet a client's needs. I annually sell at local Christmas markets, and I supply specific items to gift shops around Aberdeen. NEOS will be a great platform to meet lots of people, both new and familiar. I hope you'll come to visit us at this great venue and grab a coffee or a spot of lunch in the lovely Neil Selbie & Co. Café.
