Artist statement

Inspired by the Highlands and a lifetime spent exploring. Excited by the alchemy of earth & fire. Loving creativity and having fun with clays. Functional and sculptural work: thrown, hand-built, multiple layered glazed surfaces, reduction effects with dustbins and bonfires. Ever a pyromaniac! Ceramics are artworks you can touch.
