Directions

Neil Selfie & Co. cafe is located on the south side of North Deeside Rd at the pedestrian crossing, traffic lights in the centre of Peterculter. By bus from Aberdeen - take the no.19 First bus, or any Stagecoach heading to Banchory. Stop just outside Meka Hair Design. Walk straight ahead, cross Station Brae and the cafe is on the left.

Artist statement

My paintings are mostly photorealism created primarily in pencil, and watercolour and ink. I have an eclectic taste of subjects. I enjoy portraits (people and pets), nature and everyday objects.  I will be exhibiting for the first time at NEOS and will be sharing the venue (Selbies & Co. Cafe) with another first time exhibiter, Liz Horgan (Mixed Media).

Extended Bio

My love for creating things began when I was very young as I was encouraged to make gifts for family and friends. I got back into drawing and painting 10 years ago when my children became more independent. My artwork is mostly photorealism created primarily in pencil, and watercolour and ink. I have an eclectic taste of subjects. I enjoy portraits (people and pets), nature and everyday objects. I will be exhibiting for the first time at NEOS and will be sharing the venue (Selbies & Co. Cafe) with another first time exhibiter, Liz Horgan (Mixed Media).
