Directions

The Bennachie Visitor Centre is south of Chapel of Garioch near Inverurie. Coming from north on A96, pass Oyne Fork (B9002 Insch) and take next right turn to Chapel of Garioch. From the south on A96 leaving Inverurie, after 1 and a half miles take the left turn to Chapel of Garioch. Follow brown tourist information signs to the Centre!

Artist statement

Wildlife and nature are my inspiration. A decorative painter for over 25 years using acrylics, I create wildlife and animal originals and fine art prints plus unique hand painted whisky barrel art on repurposed cask lids and staves. Cards and individually hand painted gifts will also be available during NEOS and i will demo my painting techniques daily.

Extended Bio

I have another passion to my painting, and that's running the Huntly Swift group - NES Swifts which i founded in 2017. Protecting red listed Common Swift and House Martin and Swallow and Sand Martin across the North East of Scotland. These birds feature often in my artwork! I am also a tassel maker, practicing the now 'endangered' art of Passementerie.
