Continuing its ‘themed years’ programme, the Scottish Government has made 2018 The Year of Young People providing a platform to showcase the talents, and achievements of Scotland’s young people.
For our part, North East Open Studios would like to invite young creatives aged 18 to 26 to take part in NEOS 2018, and we have 8 bursary places available which will include the payment of the entry fee, plus space in a suitable shared venue with an established NEOS Exhibitor.
• Applicants should be 1st-time entrants and be committed to taking an active part in the exhibition week (you do not have to be available for the whole 9 days but would need to attend during any times you advertise as being open). See our FAQ for more information about NEOS.
• You will be expected to take part in in all aspects of promotion in the lead up to the open studios week, assist with set up of the exhibition and be in attendance to speak to the public about your work.
