About Artist

I am continuing to explore the creation of the illusion of light and depth in my painting using colourful compositions in forest and urban landscape, still life, and abstract subjects. I’m very much influenced by the Post Impressionists, the Fauves and the Scottish Colourists. I will also be showing original plein air sketches.

Milton of Crathes is on the A93 approximately 15 miles west of Aberdeen, directly opposite the main entrance to Crathes Castle. It is within walking distance of Crathes Castle and Banchory town centre (via the old railway line)
