Salt, wind, seaweed, sand, sea, skies, tides, surf, space - these are things that conjure up the northeast coastline for me, and describe what inspires my work daily. I work to capture a glimpse of the timeless natural beauty of our part of the coast in my drawings and paintings, through expressive colours and loose, vigorous mark-making.
