My watercolours are inspired by the wild landscapes of northern Scotland. I build on direct observation, memories and intuition to explore the relationship between landscape and emotion. My expressive paintings invite the viewer to reflect on their own experiences and emotional connection to these precious places.

Each year I discover new fabrics and different ways to use new and recycled materials. We look forward to welcoming you to our workspace.

I predominantly work in acrylics, pastel and charcoal but have recently started exploring lino printing which I am experimenting with and incorporating into my paintings. Still inspired by sea, I have been fascinated with the history that surrounds our local coastline. This year you may find lighthouses, shipwrecks and more emerging from my work.

My work is a mix of functional and non functional pieces. My style ranges from the classic to the quirky. My mentor describes me as having two sides to my pottery personality. I have fallen in love with all things mud.

PotteryHaven is a small batch pottery studio based in Stonehaven, North East Scotland. I primarily work with stoneware clay using hand building and wheel throwing techniques. Although my focus is on functional pottery for the home, I also like to make decorative pieces, all with my signature flowing glazes.

I am a multidisciplinary artist and curator, currently working with stained glass. My practice is driven by conversation, storytelling and serendipity-elements that shape the direction of my work in often unexpected ways. I embrace the evolving nature of my process, allowing chance encounters and intuitive responses to guide me.

As a textile artist, I work with beautiful fabrics and free-machine embroidery to produce dynamic stitched landscapes and seascapes as well as painting in a free, intuitive style as part of my process. I will join Hilary Duncan and Helen Jackson in the beautiful surroundings of Heckleburn.
