I am an oil painter focusing on figurative work, portraiture and literary and historical characters. In addition to this, my work also includes fine art, illustration, screen-printing and stained glass.

Fi Thomson is an artist who works and lives in Huntly. They work mostly in oil paint. But also draw, print and produce performances. Landscape has always been their greatest inspiration. They like to work from memory, exploring the day-to-day emotional response to their world.

New work from 5 diverse resident artists at The Studio Monymusk. Work includes painting and mixed media by Maggie Nickson, photography, textiles and oil painting by Anne Campbell, jewellery by Lorna Purvis, book binding and photography by Susan Cassie, ceramics and sculpture by Margaret Delday.

I work across multiple mediums, allowing creativity to flow depending on mood and inspiration. I will have a wide selection of jewellery, ceramics, glass and prints. I will have a hands on clay drop in workshop at the weekends.

I create needle felted paintings inspired by the colours and textures found in nature, such as seascapes, animals and birds. I look forward to demonstrating how I make these to my visitors. I will be exhibiting alongside John Campbell Woodturning, where I will also have some jewellery for sale.

I am a self taught Needle felter and I create animal sculptures and art from sheep wool. I am inspired by the form and movement of animals and the beautiful Scottish landscape.
