Artist statement

I like to create practical and decorative pieces with a fun, quirky touch for children and homes. Drawing inspiration from nature, I like to embellish my work using various techniques such as felting, free machine embroidery and various paint effects. I try to create items reusing or repurposing fabrics with care of the environment in mind.

Extended Bio

I trained as a home economics/textile teacher. I have been producing textile artwork for several years and during that time I've attended many courses at venues such as Grays school of art which has helped me to develop multiple techniques to enhance and embellish my work .
