Artist statement

I paint both still life, as well as composed genre subjects.
I don’t have to depict truth, and I’m fascinated with the exploration of a composition, before I go on to paint it.
I enjoy witnessing my works develop, while I contrive their narratives.
I believe that my time and effort are well used and that the end results have honest value.
