Artist statement
I work from my Croft house situated by the River Spey, this is a source of inspiration, river walks with snowy mountain views of the Cairngorms. I often fuse what is going on in the world into my work. I love drawing and my work can be painterly abstracted colourful. l work in various mediums, with reference from my mountain of Sketch books.

I am a Contemporary Scottish Artist . I work mostly as a painter but enjoy making things , carving ,sculpture ,clay and drawing . I am a graduate of the Fine Art Honers degree course at the University of the Highlands and Islands . I have been living and working at my home in Kincardine Croft and home studio for over 25 years .
I have worked in outdoor education Worked as a country side ranger here in Strath Spey at presentI also work part time as a Reindeer Herder with the Reindeer on Cairngorm Mountain . I exhibit locally and in various cities when opportunities open. After visiting Sweden in 2019 I have been inspired by Sami art and reindeer herding culture .
I maybe have the smaller Gallery in the North , The Wonder Box ,as I operate a very small honesty box where I exhibit small pieces of art at my front garden.
