Artist statement

I am a shearer who specialises in small flocks and rare breed sheep from local smallholders. The fleeces are the raw materials for my wet felted rugs. They look like traditional sheepskins but are 100% wool, made by hand using soap and hot water. They are washable, eco-friendly and the sheep produce a fleece the following year.
