Artist statement
I make a wide range of colourful ceramics in my studio in my garden. I taking inspiration from marine life, my love of gardening and walks in nature. I have continued to explore with different clays, textures and glazes. my work varies from large sculptural pieces to smaller bowls, vases, driftwood mirrors, hearts, toadstools and jewellery
Extended Bio
I studied 3D design at Grays School of Art, graduating in 1998. I loved the variety of the course but my passion lies with Ceramics and have continued to play with clay over the years. I have be experimenting with stoneware and porcelain as well as continuing with earthenware. l love all the endless possibilities making and glazing. My work is inspired by nature and living by the coast. I will have a wide rang of items on display in my studio ranging from larger sculptural pieces to more functional little dishes, bowls, hearts, jewellery and driftwood mirrors.
