Artist statement

I am an artisan ceramicist based in New Pitsligo. I handbuild sculptural vessels and wheel throw functional and decorative items for the home. My work is sometimes whimsical and usually inspired by nature, human form, adventures around the world and my native Scandinavian culture and design. I will exhibit alongside Turlundie Woodturnings in New Pitsligo.

Extended Bio

I am a Scandi born artisan ceramicist based in New Pitsligo. I studied ceramics in West Lapland Vocational Institute (Finland) graduating in 2003. I have recently returned to commercially producing hand built sculptural objects. I am also developing my wheel throwing skills by making decorative and functional items for the home. My work is sometimes whimsical and often inspired by nature, human form, adventures around the world and my native Scandinavian culture and design. I will exhibit alongside Turlundie Woodturnings in New Pitsligo.
