Directions

From Banchory drive west on the B974 to Strachan, joining the B976 continue to Finzean, past hall and as road corners sharply right, we are 500m along on the RHS. From Aboyne head towards Aberdeen. Turn right over the Potarch bridge. Turn immediately left. At the T junction, turn right onto the B976 & follow above directions.

Artist statement

Heartwood design and make smaller items for your home including mirrors, lamp, food boards and decorative pieces from Scottish hardwoods. With 35 years experience working with Tom Ironside Furniture (separate entry) our reputation is established making and restoring furniture. Look forward to meeting you at the workshop!

Extended Bio

We are Moira and Claudia, friends and colleagues for over 35 years. We love working with beautiful local wood and creating unique pieces for your home. From everyday items such as food boards, tealight holders and phone stands to one off pieces for special occasions such as lamps, mirrors, whisky boards, jewellery and watch boxes. We even make Christmas decorations too!
