Artist statement

My background is in textiles having studied in weaving and printed textiles.

I took up ceramics after retiring and gain my inspiration from the hills around my home and from my love of the sea. Colour is important to me and I like to experiment with different glazes and firing techniques using electric and Raku kilns.
