Directions

From Aberdeen through Dyce take the A947 twelve miles to Oldmeldrum. From Inverurie take the B9170 five miles to Oldmeldrum. In Oldmeldrum, from the Square, turn on to Urquhart Road then take the second on the left on to King Street.

Artist statement

Inspired by vintage, folk and Nordic designs, daisyglaisy uses these themes and works mainly with reclaimed wood painted with acrylics. Lindsay is delighted to be exhibiting from her home workshop she shares with her woodturner husband for the first time & is so pleased to be joined by fellow artists, Redbellyboy and Hamespun (see entries).

Extended Bio

I'm Lindsay Allardyce, a Scottish artist living and working in Aberdeenshire under the name of daisyglaisy. Inspired by vintage, folk and Scottish/Nordic designs, I use these themes to form the basis of my artwork. I work mainly with reclaimed wood and other natural resources, painted with acrylics to create unique pieces.
