Artist statement

Glass is a great medium to work with, full of colour and texture and unpredictability. I use a mix of traditional and modern techniques to create beautiful pieces of glass art and useful objects while allowing the beauty of the glass to speak for itself. This year, I will be sharing a venue with Martin Waterhouse, Frankie Hellings and Bennachie Crafts.

Extended Bio

I am based out of my purpose built studio in rural Aberdeenshire and enjoy doing traditional leaded glass as well as copper foiled and fused objects. I have undertaken traditional leaded windows, refurbishments/renovation of existing stained glass windows and I enjoy messing about with my kiln and a little bit of enamelling. I have been doing stained glass art for 8 years now, and have undertaken courses locally and at the Creative Glass Guild.
