Artist statement
I create distinctive silver jewellery inspired by the tranquillity of nature and our local landscapes incorporating semi-precious stones, organic textures and botanical motifs. I also teach beginners pop up workshops locally. I will have my tools and workbench in my NEOS studio so you can see my work in progress
Extended Bio
Capturing the evocative nature of Scottish forests and coasts, my distinctive silver jewellery is created using sustainable materials, recycled metals and traditional craft techniques individually or in small batches from design to finished piece in my Aberdeenshire studio.
I am inspired by the tranquillity of nature and the importance of preserving our environment to create jewellery that will inspire the wearer to take a mindful moment in nature to soothe the soul.
I’ll be popping up in The Bothy at Milton of Crathes during NEOS giving me more space to share my work with visitors and demonstrate my craft
