From a young age I’ve been drawn to visual creativity. Fascinated by the feeling it can evoke and how it helps make sense of the world around us. I have a BA in Contemporary Art and an MA in Digital Film and Animation, and I’ve spent over 20 years mainly working in motion design for broadcast, digital, and experiential projects. I’ve been lucky enough to win a few awards along the way, and I’ve also had the chance to sit on BAFTA Scotland judging panels and teach Visual Communication at Abertay University. Alongside my digital work, I’ve always had a passion for the more analogue side of things, inspired by hours blissfully lost in traditional photography darkrooms at Leeds Art College. A few years ago, I started exploring woodblock printing, and now it has become the foundation of my arts practice.
