Virginia studied Ceramics at Wimbledon School of Art and the University of Wales Cardiff. She has been producing ceramics for 25 years and has displayed her work across the UK and internationally during that period.
Recently, she has focused on creating small batches of functional ware for shops and venues such as the Royal Shakespeare Company, Kew Gardens, The London Coliseum, and The Longship in Kirkwall.
Her recent move to Scotland affords the opportunity of new inspiration for colour and surface pattern, influenced by the landscape and expansive skies around her home studio.
