Artist statement
The rounded shapes and colours of my home, the Moray coast, are echoed in my ceramics. I make coiled vessels, neolithic looking animals, dragons, goddesses and more. Once through the fire they are marked with the gorgeous unrepeatable touch of flame and smoke. And should you fancy a big mug or a cacao cup, you might find one here as well.
Extended Bio
With a previous training in socialwork and photography I have discovered the magic of clay in 1995 and have had my hands in clay ever since. I work in my studio "Claysongs Ceramics" right by the path to dunes forest and sea. I love providing a safe space for individuals to experience their creativity in clay.
